I agree with Sammy in that I think most of us underestimate the number of calories that we are consuming. Adhering to a food journal has opened my eyes! Some foods are just not worth eating when I know how hard I work to exercise it off. I love how you compared this to a bank account-no money in my checking account and there is no shopping at Nordstroms. It is simple as that! For years I journaled my food/calories and I think a big problem is that people underestimate the calories in the foods they eat – especially when eating out – and that makes the calorie tracking inaccurate which is a problem!
